One Jewish resident of the town Tshecherska, Minsk region, was burned to death and three seriously injured in the fire which broke out there on Sunday. Four hundred and sixty persons are without homes. Among the 106 houses burned were three Beth Hamidrashim, houses of study.
The White Russian Central Executive Committee, Zik, has ordered the organization of immediate relief from Homel. The Red Cross has opened kitchens to feed the victims.
