Ten new Jewish military chaplains are entering the U.S. Armed Forces in time to plan Rosh Hashanah services which they will conduct for Jewish military personnel, it was announced by Rabbi Edward T. Sandrow, chairman of the National Jewish Welfare Board Commission on Jewish Chaplaincy and spiritual leader of Temple Beth El, Cedarhurst, N.Y. Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown September 30 and continues through sundown October 2.
