Ten new scouts have been inducted into Troop 220, sponsored by the Brooklyn Hebrew Orphan Asylum Society, Ralph Avenue and Dean Street, Brooklyn.
A large stepped pyramid on which the twelve parts of the Scout Law were painted, with a candle on each step, formed the background for the ceremony. The recitation of each law was accompanied by the lighting of a candle.
The principal speaker was the Hon. Aaron L. Jacoby, Register of Kings County and a member of the 220 Troop Committee. Another talk was given by Daniel Gutman, president of the East New York district of the Boy Scouts of America.
