The Reich will soon be represented by “100 per cent Nazi” ambassadors in both United States and Great Britain, it was learned tonight with news that Dr. Hans Heinrich Dieckhoff, temporary Foreign Undersecretary, is to be sent to Washington to replace Ambassador Hans Luther, the Havas News Agency reported.
Dieckhoff, like his cousin, Joachim von Ribbentrop, German Ambassador to London, is a devout proponent of the Nazi regime and policies. Both have played important roles in Reich foreign affairs since Chancellor Adolf Hitler’s accession to power.
