10,000 Chassidim from all parts of Eastern Europe assembled at Marmarosz, Sziget, Transylvania, for the wedding of the Chassidic Rabbi Teitlebaum’s daughter.
The scenes of the wedding, especially the leading of the bride to the “chupa” to the strains of music and Chassidic songs, were reminiscent of the mediaeval beauty and charm.
All of the Chassidim were the guests of the Rabbi for several days, and after the ceremony all partook of a great feast.
