SIR OSWALD MOSLEY’S FASCIST ORGAN, ACTION, WAS TODAY FOUND GUILTY OF HAVING LIBELLED LORD CAMROSE AND THE DAILY TELEGRAPH AND ORDERED TO PAY DAMAGES OF £12,500 (ABOUT $62,500) TO THE PUBLISHER AND £7,500 ($37,500) TO HIS PAPER.
THE ACTION WAS BASED ON AN ARTICLE PUBLISHED IN THE FASCIST PAPER WHICH ASSERTED LORD CAMROSE WAS OF JEWISH ORIGIN, HAD INTIMATE CONTACTS WITH INTERNATIONAL JEWISH INTERESTS, AND WHICH IMPLIED THE JEWISH INTERNATIONAL FINANCIERS HAD NO SENSE OF LOYALTY TO THE CROWN.
