More than $100,000 was raised for Palestine last night at a “Third Seder” arranged in New York by the National Labor Committee for Palestine, which was attended by 5,000 people.
Principal speakers at the Seder included Senator Elbert D. Thomas of Utah, David Ben-Gurion, Rabbis Stephen S. Wise, Hayim Greenberg, Joseph Schlossberg, Israel Mereminski and Morris Feinstone. Because of the large number of guests the seder was held simultaneously in two hotels, the Astor and the Commodore. At the Hotel Astor the seder was opened by Isaac Hamlin.
