Appalling distress among Jewish school children was revealed here today in a report by Toz, Jewish health society. The report said that more than half a million zlotys (about $100,000) was spent last winter in feeding 44,000 children in 600 schools. Of this sum the American Jewish Joint Distribution committee contributed 30 per cent, the London appeal, ten, and the OSE, world Jewish health body with headquarters in Paris, five per cent.
