A $1,000,000 grant to Brandeis University by the Dorothy and Lewis S. Rosenstiel Foundation was announced today by Lewis S. Rosenstiel, chairman of the board of Schenley industries, Inc.
The $1,000,000 grant will be used for the establishment of a Dorothy Rosenstiel New Science Research Center at Brandeis University. The Center will be dedicated to basic research in biochemistry with special reference to glandular disorders. The Rosenstiel Foundation donation is the largest that Brandeis University has ever received.
