An 18,000,000 Israeli pound (approximately $9,900,000) textile plant, the second largest in Israel, opened today in the Jewish section of Nazareth.
The huge plant with 20,000 spindles and hundreds of spools will provide employment for 400 workers and within a year their number is expected to reach 700. Many products are destined for export. The plant was established through the cooperation of overseas Jewish investors.
