The first saplings of a 10,000-tree forest in memory of Dr. Max Bodenheimer, president of the Jewish National Fund from 1907 to 1914 were planted here today in ceremonies marking the 100th anniversary of Bodenheimer’s birth. Dr. Bodenheimer’s daughter and other members of his family attended the ceremony which was presided over by Yaacov Tsur, world chairman of the JNF.
