Contributions to the German Relief Fund to date total $1,030,775 in cash, Rabbi Jonah B. Wise, national fund raising chairman of the Joint Distribution Committee, announced Saturday. Pledges to the Relief Fund would bring the total to $1,234,150. Of the cash received, New York City is credited with $457,089 as against pledges of $486,350.

A vigorous campaign is in progress to obtain an early payment of outstanding pledges, Rabbi Wise stated.
