Some 1,070 Jewish students of Hungary have been compelled to obtain their education abroad as a result of the numerus clausus, according to statistics for 1929 just made public. The majority of these students are studying in various European universities; 276 are in Austria, 190 in Czechoslovakia, 348 in Italy, 105 in Germany, 88 in France and 63 in Switzerland.
