A number of Belgian Jews, including the relief leader, Ernst Torczyner, have been arrested in unoccupied France and held at St. Cyprien in the Pyrenees. About 1,000 German Jewish children, under the supervision of the OSE, Jewish health society, are stranded in Vichy, unoccupied France.
