Nearly 140 Yiddish and Hebrew writers today signed a declaration hailing the Histadrut in Israel on the 30th anniversary of its establishment, which occurs this month. The declaration urges American Jewry to celebrate the Histadrut’s anniversary.
The signatories of the declaration include poets, novelists, publicists and members of the editorial staffs of all daily Yiddish newspapers in the United States and Canada.
