There are only 1,500 Jewish children attending Christian mission schools in Israel, out of a total school population of 210,000 children, it was reported here today.
A special fund, known as Yeladeinu, has been formed to make arrangements for the transfer of children from these schools to Israeli schools. In the past few months it has managed to take 700 schoolchildren away from the mission schools.
