The resignation of the Executive Committee of the Warsaw Kehillah has created a critical situation in Jewish communal affairs here.

The resignation had a particularly had effect on the relief action which is organized annually for the poor in connection with the Passover celebration.

Due to the disorganized state of affairs, no relief action could be arranged up to now. Fifteen thousand requests for Passover doles have so far been received at the office of the Kehillah.
