Ten graduates of the Hebrew Union College-Institute of Religion were awarded Master of Arts Degrees in Hebrew Letters and ordained as Reform rabbis tonight at the 34th ordination and commencement of the Reform seminary.
Nine graduates of the School of Sacred Music were invested as synagogue cantors. Others among the 152 graduates were certified as religious school principals, teachers and specialists in Hebrew, music and the arts.
