A total of 168 displaced Jews arrived here today aboard the S.S. Marine Marlin under the Displaced Persons Act of 1948. They were among 459 refugee immigrants who reached these shores from Europe. Of the 168 Jews, 148 were aided in their arrival by HIAS.
