One hundred and seventy-six Jewish refugees from Shanghai arrived this week in San Francisco and are en route to permanent homes in the U.S. and some Latin-American countries, it was reported today. Another 123 are en route to the U.S. from Shanghai aboard the S.S. Marine Adder, which left the Chinese port on Sept. 7. More than 6,000 of the Jewish refugees in Shanghai have emigrated since the end of the war.
