18 Arabs Injured by Hand Grenade; Civilian Population Exchanged

Eighteen Arabs were injured early this morning when a hand grenade thrown into a crowded street in the Gaza Strip exploded. Security forces launched a search for the terrorists responsible for the action. Meanwhile, civilian populations were exchanged across the Suez Canal today. The movement saw 144 Egyptian nationals from the Gaza Strip transfer to Egypt while 27 former Gaza Strip residents in Egypt returned to their homes. The transfer was conducted under auspices of the International Red Cross.
