18 Jews Are Reelected to Their Seats in Parliament in British General Elections

Final results in Britain’s general elections disclosed today that 18 Jewish Laborites and one Conservative were returned to their seats in Parliament. Among those reelected are Barnett Janner, chairman of the Zionist Federation of Britain; Sidney Silverman, chairman of the British section of the World Jewish Congress; and Maurice Orbach, secretary of the Trades Advisory Council.
