Eighteen percent of the British people believe that the British Government should recognize Israel, a poll conducted by the London Daily Express and made public today said. Fifty-two percent of those questioned are against recognition of the Jewish state, while 30 percent are undecided.
The same group was reported as 69 percent against Britain’s participation in a United Nations force to halt the Palestine fighting while 18 percent were in favor, of such participation. Thirteen percent expressed no opinion.
