A total of 1,863 Jewish immigrants came to Canada from North African and Near Eastern countries except Israel, during the 15-year period, 1946-1961, according to government figures released here today. Of the total, 937 of the Jewish immigrants were from Morocco. The remainder had come from Lebanon, Syria, and Saudi Arabia.
