A $2.7 million IBM computer, larger than any other new operating in Israel, will be installed at the Feinberg Graduate School of the Weizmann institute of Science in Rehovoth this year. The giant IBM 372, Model 165 will be located in the institute’s new computer center under the supervision of a committee of scientists headed by Prof. Yehuda Eisenberg of the department of nuclear physics. The center will be directed by Jules Finkel, an American scientists who emigrated recently to Israel.
