2 Days of Rosh Hashanah Passed Peacefully Throughout Palestine

The Jerusalem Police Commandant, Mavrogardato, authorized the Jewish Telegraphic Agency here to state that the last two days, the first and second days of Rosh Hashanah, were uneventful, nothing happening anywhere in Palestine to mar the holiday.

Conditions have sufficiently improved to warrant the entire lifting of the curfew in Jaffa and Tel Aviv, which the local authorities have done on their own responsibility. The New Year thus began in Tel Aviv with restored confidence of security.
