Two internment centers for German refugees have been liquidated with the release of their 239 inmates for emigration overseas, the HIAS-ICA Emigration Association announced today.
The refugees were escorted from France by representatives of the association to an English port from where they sailed to their destinations. Other groups of refugees were sent from Marseille on five Italian steamships to various Latin American countries.
