Polish police have arrested Dr. Suchotin, president of the Association of Impartial Jews, and Secretary Markewicz of the organization. No reason was assigned for the sudden decision to arrest the two men.

The arrests aroused great surprise in Jewish circles since the organization regards itself as a patriotic Polish body whose members are pledged to support the Pilsudski regime. The organization is also known to insist on its members voting for pro-government candidates.
