2 Jews Die in Continuing Disorders

Two Jews died today and four others were seriously injured in continuing Palestine disorders.

A special policeman was killed and two laborers he was escorting were injured in an ambuscade at the Zichron Jacob colony, south of Haifa. The policeman, Dov Ben Joseph (formerly Lipshin), 26, was an immigrant from Riga, Latvia, a member of the B’rith Trumpeldor youth organization and a former seaman of the S.S. Theodor Herzl. The injured laborers are Joshua Dehan and Jerucham Shlumin.

The second fatality was Noah Raigorodsky, 36, a railway employee who was shot in Haifa. He was an immigrant from Rumania. A vegetable dealer, Abraham David Cohen, was shot and seriously wounded by a sniper in the Musrarah quarter of Jerusalem. a special policeman, Yehezkiel Rabinovitz, 21, was wounded when the Kfar Hassidim settlement was fired upon.
