Participating in the annual Peace Caravan sponsored by the American Friends Service Committee are Alexander P. Fein silver of Brooklyn and Albert Bilgray of Chicago, students at the Hebrew Union College. They are the only Jewish team participating.
Along with fourteen other teams from various universities which are touring the East and Middle West, Bilgray and Feinsilver are traveling through the State of Indiana, speaking on world peace. During the summer’s work they have addressed church groups of various denominations, and delivered talks before other organizations. They also try to organize peace groups in the various communities.
Bilgray is a graduate of the University of Chicago and a senior at the Hebrew Union College, where he is president of the student body. Feinsilver is a graduate of Western Reserve University, and a second collegiate student at the Hebrew Union College.
