Polish authorities tonight arrested 20 members of an alleged secret German Nazi organization with headquarters at Bydgoszcz, in the Reich-Polish frontier zone, the Havas News Agency reported.
The assertedly subversive organization was known as the German League of National Socialist Workers. Polish authorities charged that its members made frequent trips across the frontier to Germany to receive political instructions. All details of the investigation were kept secret.
At Krakow, several members of the Fascist-inclined National Democratic Party were arrested today for distributing pamphlets containing a violent attack against Polish Jews. The pamphlets also contained an appeal for a nation-wide demonstration on May 3.
