More than 20 Jews were beaten today in disorders at Kasawlatsky, Pokowo district. Jews closed their stores after windows had been broken. Pickets were stationed in front of the Jewish shops.

The excesses followed agitation among the peasants by anti-Semites. Deputy Emil Sommerstein intervened with Premier Skladkowski to aid the Jews in the town.
