Two hundred Lithuanian Jewish families will emigrate this month to Biro-Bidjan, autonomous Jewish territory in the Soviet Far East, it was announced here today. They are the first group slated to go from this country in accordance with the Soviet Government’s recently announced plan to accept non-Russian Jews for settlement in Biro-Bidjan. Each family is required to pay $200 toward the traveling expenses.
