Two ships which will expand the Israeli merchant marine, one a 20,000-ton passenger ship, the other a 700-ton cargo vessel, will be launched at French shipyards in the next two weeks, it was announced here today.
On November 20, the freighter Dahlia will be launched at Toulon. Owned by the All-Seas Shipping Co., the Dahlia is scheduled to sail under the Israeli flag, and will ply between Israel and ports in Southern Europe and West Africa. The new Israeli liner, named the Molodet, will be launched November 21, at Nantes.
