The 20th anniversary of the Hartford Jewish Ledger, local English-Jewish weekly newspaper, was celebrated this week at a dinner attended by prominent civic and Jewish leaders. Representatives of Government Chester Bowles of Connecticut and Mayor Cyril Colemah of Hartford were the principal speakers. The efforts of Samuel Neusner, publisher, and Dr. Abraham J. Feldman, editor, were highly lauded.
