Five thousand one hundred and fifty-seven Jews were admitted as emigrants into the United States during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1929, according to Commissioner Hull’s report, which shows that 3,407 non-immigrant Jews (temporary visitors, students, etc.) were admitted during the same period.
