The names of 22 victims of Saturday’s terrorist assault were published today as the Army Burial Society, aided by pathologists of the Forensic Institute, continued efforts to identify seven of the dead who were burned beyond recognition. The known dead include:
Naama Hadani, 5; Mordechai Zayit, 9; Li’at Galon, 6; Yoav Mishkal, 61/2; the Nakaveh family–Haviv (father) 38, Itzhak (son) 9 and Galit (daughter) 3; the Hochman family–Rivka (mother) 28, Ilan (son) 3, and Roi (son) 61/2; Imri Tel-Oren, 14; Katya and Joseph Shoshinsky, of Ashdod; Rina and Dov Nushkenitz, of Haifa; Yacob Paz, 23, of Bnei Brak; Shimon Glutman, 43; Joseph Halwani, 68; Yaacov Segen, 27; Shlomo Pollak, 16; Yehuda Besterman, 31; Gail Rubin, of New York, 39.
The final death toll has been placed tentatively at 32 victims and nine terrorists.
