22,500 Pupils in Chicago Jewish Schools; 18,000 in Philadelphia

More than 22,500 Jewish children are enrolled in Jewish day schools, Sunday schools, a high school and nurseries of this city for the fall semester.

Some 7,000 children are enrolled in Conservative, Reform and Orthodox Hebrew schools and 14, 000 are attending classes in Sunday schools. Some 400 are attending Yiddish schools, 400 are at classes in the High School of Jewish Studies and 750 children are registered in 16 Jewish nurseries.
