The United Zionist Organization of Brazil announced here today that 245 Jews from Brazil emigrated to Israel during the first six months of 1965, all going with the aid of the Jewish Agency. Among the 245 were 44 who had left Israel earlier for settlement here, but had decided to return to the Jewish State.
Altogether, since 1961, more than 2,000 Jews have emigrated from this country to Israel with the help of the Jewish Agency, the data showed. According to the U. Z. O., other Jews from this country also went to Israel, but their numbers are not known definitively, since they were not aided by the Jewish Agency.
