Radio Station WMCA will celebrate Israel’s 25th anniversary with a 25-hour broadcast Feb. 26. The program. “Israel 25,” will begin with a live report from Israel focusing on the history and struggles that led to the birth of the country. The broadcast will present facts and discussions on various aspects of life in Israel, including the relations between Ashkenazim and Sephardim and the Orthodoxy and secular groups. Other programs will provide interviews with Israeli artists, authors, columnists and diplomats. The listening audience will be able to phone in questions. Every four hours the station will broadcast news direct from Tel Aviv.
