Twent-five Jewish workmen were wounded and twenty are under arrest in the Jewish municipality of Tel-Aviv, Palestine, as a result of a clash between orthodox and unorganized laborers and the organized members of the “Histadruth” or Federation of Labor.
The clash arose from a dispute over the rights of the unorganized to work. Jewish leaders are blaming the gendarmerie for the casulties, declaring that their intervention intensified the difference between the two factions.
