The Mizrachi Youth of America opened its thirteenth annual convention at Yeshiva College, 186th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, Friday night with a Sabbath celebration. Louis Simsovitz, vice-president of the New York council, greeted the 250 delegates.
Other speakers were Moses J. Cohen, president of the organization, and Max Hagler, vice-president. David W. Petegorsky was to deliver a sermon Saturday morning with David Spiegel officiating at Sabbath ceremonies. The convention continues today (Sunday).
