A total of 250 Jewish students were graduated from Polish universities and colleges this year, it was reported here. The Central Committee of Polish Jews decided to grant each of the graduates the sum of 10,000 zlotys.
M. Wolpe, editor of the textbook division of the government publishing house, assured a delegation from the Central Committee that Jewish students studying in nationalized Jewish schools will be provided with necessary textbooks shortly. The delegation had complained that Jewish pupils are sorely in need of Jewish textbooks.
