A unique tribute to a faithful worker is the check for $25,000 on account of collection of subscriptions to the United Jewish Campaign sent last week by Albert H. Lieberman, chairman of the Eastern Pennsylvania Zone, to Paul Baerwald, national treasurer.

The payments of subscriptions covered by this check were an expression by subscribers to the United Jewish Campaign of their appreciation of the loyal and indefatigable service rendered in the Eastern Pennsylvania Zone by Mrs. David Friedlander, who has been the field secretary for that district ever since the Jews of that state organized themselves to raise their share of the $15,000,000 sought in that campaign.

Mrs. Friedlander recently relinquished that post to accept the position of executive secretary of the Committee of 1,000 of the United Synagogues of America. Including this latest remittance, the Eastern Pennsylvania Zone has paid into the treasury of the United Jewish Campaign the sum of $1,225,000.
