It was disclosed today that the Council for German Jewry, headed by Sir Herbert Samuel, has raised thus far £504,730 (about $2,523,650) in its $5,000,000 drive in Great Britain for funds to expatriate Jews from Germany. This quota, in conjunction with $10,000,000 that American Jewish organizations are expected to allocate, will make up the $16,000,000 estimated as necessary to expatriate 100,000 persons in four years.
