Final returns on the election of delegates to the forthcoming Zionist Congress showed that there will be 18 labor representatives, including one Yemenite Jew; 3 Mizrachi, 3 Revisionists, 2 General Zionists, 1 Democrat, 1 Nationalist, and 1 of the Yemenite party.
“The Jewish Forum” announced as prize winners in the Short Story Contest it conducted the following: Maurice Redmon of Newark, N. J., first prize of $100,00 with his story “The Schul”; Mrs. Adele Blackman, New York. second price of $50,00 for her story “Rekindled”; and Emanuel Cohen, New York, third prize of $25,00 for his story entitled “The Second Generation.”
