More than 3, 000 former Bessarabian Jews met here last night to demand that the Rumanian Government allow the reunion of Rumanian Jewish families some of whose members are in Israel and the others still in Rumania.
Among the 3, 000 were representatives of Bessarabian Jews who were now living in 11 countries across the world. Among the speakers at the meeting were Knesset Speaker Joseph Sprinzak, Tel Aviv Mayor Chaim Levanon and Jewish Agency executive member Meir Grossman.
