Lichtenfels police have arrested three young men said to be connected with the desecration last weekend of the Burgen-stadt Jewish cemetery. No names were released but the three were a 19-year-old school boy, a 21-year-old student and a 24-year-old unskilled laborer. They said they did not know why they wrecked the cemetery, causing DM 70,000 worth of damage. They claimed they were drunk at the time. All three have rejected accusations that they acted for political reasons or in demonstration against the shooting down of the Libyan airliner.
