Three generations of rabbis will participate in the installation of Benjamin H. Englander as spiritual leader of Congregation Shaare Shomayim here Sunday.
Rabbi Englander’s father, Rabbi David Englander of Brooklyn, and his grandfather, Rabbi S. J. Englander of Philadelphia, will perform the installation rites.
Born in Palestine, the youngest of the three Englanders was graduated last June from the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. He also studied at the Hebrew Theological College in Chicago while his father was executive director there.
