Jacob Klinger, 25-year-old lawyer, traveling to Safed to appear in court, was shot dead when the bus in which he was a passenger was fired upon near Haifa. He was the son of a prominent banker, Eliahu Klinger.
Zacharia Levy Karaba, was slain during an attack near the Ben Shemen Colony. Kalman Kelman, an immigrant from Poland, was killed in an ambush at Beer Jacob. The four Arabs were killed when police engaged a band near the Salama village in the vicinity of Jaffa.
